Alexander grew up playing the cello in string Quartet, sailing and fishing on the bay, playing tennis and golf in the summer and has always been a nature enthusiast.  Alexander graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with the Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in finance. Upon graduation, Alexander was sponsored and obtained his Series 7 General Securities Representative and Series 66 Investment Advisor Representative licenses, working on wall street at a proprietary trading firm during the height of the financial crisis. Alexander would later work for Collaborative Economics in San Francisco as an Alternative Energy Analyst and as a Life, Accident and Health broker in Stamford, Connecticut.

In 2012, Alexander returned to the North Fork, where he obtained his real estate salesperson license and has continued to successfully sell real estate on the North Fork since.
